Tissington & The Tissington Trail: 6 Miles Easy

Tissington - Tissington Trail - Alsop en le Dale - Parwich - Bletch Brook - Tissington

The walk starts at the Tissington Trail car park in Tissington.  Turn left out of the car park and down into Tissington.  Turn right up the broad main street. At the top of the village near Hands Well turn  right and right again following the road back to the car park.

Turn left in the car park and follow the Tissington Trail to Alsop en le Dale car park. Here turn right and descend over pasture to a road.  Turn right along the road into the village.

Just past the last house on the left a path climbs a small bank, follow this way marked path across fields and through a wood eventually descending to a road. Turn left along the road into Parwich.

On entering Parwich look out for a finger post marked 'Tissington 2 Miles', after exploration of the village this is the path back to Tissington.

The path leads over fields and descends down to cross Bletch Brook by a footbridge. Ascend the hill opposite to a bridge over the Tissington Trail.  Cross the bridge and then turn left down a path and onto the Tissington Trail back to Tissington.
